Kate+Richard
I met Kate and Richard a few months back at Oddfellow's Cafe. Kate had called me
last fall in New York where she was planning her wedding. I can't believe how many
of my brides and groom are planning or have planned their weddings from different
states and even countries! Kudos! She did an amazing job because the wedding
celebration was beautiful. Kate and Richard exited the Seattle LDS temple in the early
afternoon and after a bit of teasing from the sun and rainclouds, we lucked out with
a small time frame of dry weather. After we fully used the temple grounds to our
advantage, Kate and Richard headed off to Seastar for a celebratory lunch with friends
and family. We met up after the sun went down for some fun shots at the Seattle
Public Library where Julie Harmsen joined us. Get this, their reception was at a
bowling alley. ACME BOWL in Tukila blew me away with its modern lounge decor
and amazing food service. Guests enjoed pizza, salad and pasta while they played
a few games. What a great way to end such an exciting day. Thanks Kate and
Richard for including me!
And thanks Julie for second shooting. Her shots are the first ACME sign photo
and the cool moustache guys.

dude, i want to shoot in a bowling alley, like hard.
rad shots.
to be honest, there's been a wedding that i've been wanting to post for the last three months and i keep thinking .. who wants to see pictures of people hugging people? and i come to this post inspired and i realize. I WANT TO SEE PICTURES OF PEOPLE HUGGING PEOPLE! i love that you included them. it goes to show that we can share in the sweetness of a warm hug between people we don't even know .. and almost experience a kinship. so thank you. for filtering the way you do, it's familiar to me.
These are beautiful. I love everything about their wedding and your eye.
