Blair + Isaak | Captain Whidbey Inn Wedding

Time is so fleeting. I feel like I blinked and then made it halfway through winter. Blair and Isaak were married last summer at the incomparable Captain Whidbey Inn.

They were so kind to me and filled this venue with  many loving people. I took one of the first ferries out so I could start the day early and when I arrived, it was raining.  Tents were opened up, tables covered and we kept an eye on our integrated phone apps that would tell us down to the minute when the rain would stop. Sure enough, it did and the sun managed to show its face during the ceremony.

The Captain Whidbey Inn really has to be one of my favorites that I've photographed. It's like stepping back in time, from the creaking stairs to the sinks in the room. I would love to go back and photograph it again.

The butcher paper, the transparent tent, the wood details and scaping foliage and florals. So lovely.

Congratulations, Blair and Isaak. Thank you for allowing me to document such a beautiful day. Megan Keller of Akurant Event put everything together kept the day running smoothly.
